Monster Musume Funny Guy Getting Hurt
Sup guys? I'm here to review Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou. This anime was just so funny and the monster girls played their parts so perfectly. I honestly have to say I enjoyed it more than I had expected. If you like ecchi then this is for you, if you don't like ecchi then no, I don't recommend you watch it. Anyway, let's get started with the review.
Plot; 8/10
The plot is literally like any harem anime. The guy gets stuck with a bunch of girls in his house not by choice but forced to take them in and he has to choose between all of the girls to see who will he marry because of the Cultural Exchange Act. But they aren't any ordinary girls, they are monster girls. The situations they get themselves in make the anime because it adds drama, comedy, ecchi goodness and you don't know which girl you want because they're all so cute.
Characters; 8/10
Kurusu Kimihito, he is the main character. He volunteered on the exchange and he was given his first monster girl. He does not see the girls as monsters, he sees them as human girls being one of the first humans to not overreact to the monster species. He's caring and doesn't like when the girls get hurt.
Miia, she is the first girl we meet in the anime. Right away, she calls our main character "Darling" so we can tell right away that she's been there for awhile. She is a Lamia. She can be a little possessive of our MC but she's also very sweet. Her tail is her most sensitive part. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: :joy:
Papi, she is the second girl and she is a Harpy. Everyone believed her to be a child but she is actually the same age as the other girls. Her personality is very innocent and she can be a little naive sometimes but she still understands when something is going to happen, good or bad.
Cerea, she is the third girl we meet and she is from a very noble part of the monster world. She is the wisest out of all the girls but she's also not very honest sometimes with what she wants and when she finally admits it, she is relieved and we see her cute side.
Mero, she is the fourth girl we meet and she is a Mermaid. When not in the water, she will be seen going around in a wheelchair. She has an obsession with tragedies and wants her love with the MC to be a tragedy which freaks everybody out. She can be a masochist and also very shady but she still supports the other girls nonetheless.
Suu, she is a Slime. We meet her inside a boiling pot of water as she was looking to hydrate herself. Suu tends to get into a more bouncier form when she takes in water. :sweat_drops: She is the quiet one who doesn't really know how to talk but along the way, she starts repeating everything the other monster girls say, now being able to speak with some words, she is closest to Papi because of the childishness they both carry.
Rachnera, she is the fifth girl we meet. She is a Arachne meaning she is a spider. When we see her, she can be thought of as "oh my god, she's gonna be the evil one." And I was so wrong. She hates humans because she has always been frowned upon but when she meets the MC, it all changes because he doesn't see her as horribly as the other humans. She is very sadistic so she gets joy from grabbing and tying up others with her webs in a sexual manner.
Art/Animation; 8/10
The art wasn't the best but it wasn't the worse. For monster girls, they were very pleasing to the eyes. Colors were bright and it gives you that relaxing feel. The censoring I didn't mind at all because it kept us wanting more and even a little expose shot was very very satisfying to me.
Sounds; 9/10
The soundtrack is amazing. I didn't skip the opening or ending in no episode. I love the opening because we hear the voices of each monster girl which is well deserved because it was very original. It's upbeat so it hyped you up for the next episode. Honestly, no complain. The opening is "Let's Fall In Love." The ending is "Hey! Smith!" it's very different from the opening adding a little bit of rock but it blends in perfectly.
Overall; 8/10
Overall, if you like ecchi and just want to see a very common harem anime then this will be it for you. It has enough comedy, the girls are all very interesting having their own kind of personalities and watching the MC go through all kinds of troubles. If fan service isn't your cup of tea then yeah, you just read this review for no reason. :joy:  Give this anime a chance! It's very well done.
Till next time. :v: 🏻
